clickbankAnyone can learn how to make money online with a Clickbank niche website if they follow these simple steps and dedicate some time to the project.

Finding a Clickbank niche that you can market to is not really that difficult, it just takes some time and effort.

First you need to go to Clickbank and find a product with a Gravity of 10 or more.

This means that 10 or more affiliates are currently making sales with that particular Clickbank product.

window6Next you need to check SEO competition.

Go to the Google keywords tool and put in your main search phrase.  For example if you found a Clickbank golf product that had a Gravity of 10 or more; put in “golf swing” to get a list of relevant search phrases that people are using. Pick out the ones that have the highest amount of traffic; at least 500 or more searches a month.

Once you have your list of keywords, see if there are a lot of sites that are targeting those keywords.

You can do this by putting each keyword in “quotes” and do a Google search.

Look for keywords that have competing sites of 100,000 or less. If you don’t have any keywords under 100,000; it means that the niche is too competitive and you need to start over and find another potential Clickbank niche website product.

Next Google the keywords without double ” marks to see the page rank for of each of those websites. Look for sites with a rank of PR3 or less in the top ten search results.

If your keywords meet all of the above criteria, go to the next step which is actually setting up your Clickbank niche website.

Using the five keyword phrases you researched that meet the above criteria; you need to write a 500 word article for each of the five keywords.

Make sure that the keywords you use for each of the articles are noted in the title, sprinkled throught the article, and if it is at all possible, in the URL of the page.

In the Golf Swing example, the keyword “golf swing” needs to be in the title, throughout the article, and expressed in the URL as http://www.golfswing.com.

The title of each of your articles should also be in the URL along with the main keyword. For example; if your first article reads “Improve Your Golf Swing”, your URL should read http://www.golfswing.com/improve-your-golf-swing.htm.

The balance of your articles should be set up the same way. If your next article is “Keep Your Eye On The Ball”; your URL should read, http://www.golfswing.com/keep-your-eye-on-the-ball.htm

Your website should also have links to your sitemap, your privacy policy, and a “terms of use” page.  Google likes these pages and will index your site much faster when these pages are placed on your website.

In order to build your list and credibility with your visitors, you need to offer them something of value on your website.

A free ebook, video tutorial, or mini course on proper golf stance could be incentive for visitors to opt in to your list.

As your email list builds and you provide your visitors with your valuable ebooks, tutorials or mini course; you can then send them the link to the relevant Clickbank affiliate product you found in the first step, through your autoresponder series.

The next step to getting traffic to your Clickbank Niche Website is to get backlinks to your site.

As you know, the more relevant high quality backlinks you have to your website, the higher the ranking Google and the other search engines will assign to your site.

Do this by going to article directories and submitting articles with your five main keywords in the title, the article description, throughout your article, and in your resource box at the end of each of your articles.

Use as your anchor text the five main keywords you identified at the beginning of your Clickbank niche website search.

You can also use video sharing sites like YouTube, Social Bookmarking sites like Digg and StumbleUpon, and Web 2.0 sites like Twitter and Facebook to generate quality relevant backlinks to your new Clickbank Niche Website.

You should also remember to make comments on relevant blogs and forums with a high page rank, to attract even more backlinks to your site.

The more quality backlinks you create to your Clickbank niche website from higher page ranking sites, the more weight Google and the other search engines will place on your site and the more potential traffic you will generate.

Try to get backlinks from .edu and .gov websites if at all possible. These sites carry much more weight than any other type of website and will raise your Clickbank niche website rank very quickly.

Once you are getting a substantial amount of traffic to your website and your website is converting well, don’t rest on your laurels. You need to continue to get more and more traffic.

Scale up and start adding more articles with additional keywords to your website.

The more content you add to your Clickbank niche website, the more your ranking will improve and your site will remain in the top position of the search engine results. The search engine spiders love fresh content and will return frequently to your site to update it.

Add additional pages to your site and get those pages ranked using these same procedures you used above. The name of the game is to get as many visitors to your site as possible.

Neglecting your Clickbank niche website will soon find your visitor traffic falling off and your rankings with the search engines dropping.

The key to learning how to make money online with a Clickbank niche website and maintaining a long term source of income, is to repeat everything you have done up till now frequently and on a regular basis.

Wish I learned about this last year. It appears to be a great way to establish a long term income stream for our family.

I assume you don’t need to stick with Clickbank products. Why not use Commission Junction stuff?

You can use any affiliate product you choose with this strategy. The basic principles still apply.
High ticket items don’t convert as quickly however it really depends on the niche you pick and how much competition it actually receives.
The trick is to keep funneling TARGETED traffic to your site.
