Facebook’s New iPad Application
As of October 2011, Faebook’s new iPad application up and running.
The much talked about new iPad application provides users with the “full” Facebook experience on the go.
The Facebook iPad application allows users to chat, share photos and keep up with their friends with just a touch of their fingertips.
Photos in particular on the iPad are larger and easy to navigate.
It’s like having a portable slideshow photo album of your friends and old memories at your side whereever you’re at.
With the hands on Facebook application you can pinch a picture to zoom in on it, swipe the screen to easily run through your photo albums or scroll through your News Feeds.
Messages and notifications are located on top of every screen so that you can respond to your friends comments or keep up with any updates without losing your place or having to navigate away from the page you are currently on.
Your apps, games, groups and lists are located in the left hand menu.
Facebook’s new iPad application has some other nifty features that might interest you.
You can now play games and use applications in the full screen mode, watch high resolution videos online, stream to Airplay devices, record High Definition videos and chat with your friends directly from your iPad.
If you are interested in getting the application, it is now available in the
App Store.
The latest Version 4.0.2 below has added a few security updates to make the app safer however, the general consensus from users is to drop the “Top Stories” and revert back to the older version.
